Environmental Remediation Update

Remedial Action/Boca Teeca golf course - a/k/a Ocean Breeze

The Florida Dept. of Environmental Protection (FDEP) has approved the remedial action plan in response to the FDEP & EPA reports which indicated that elevated levels of chemicals were present on a portion of the South golf course, in the area of the maintenance facility.  Although soils will be relocated and tested for levels of hazardous chemicals during this process, there will be requirements for ongoing groundwater testing for many months after the soil remediation is completed.
