Ocean Breeze Golf Foreclosure Update
The foreclosure action against the owners of the Ocean Breeze golf course in Boca Raton continues in Palm Beach County court. The golf course remains open to the public with professional management by The Arnold Palmer management company. Over 5,000 rounds of golf per month are an illustration that the public wants championship level golf within the city limits of Boca Raton.

Environmental Remediation Update
Remedial Action/Boca Teeca golf course - a/k/a Ocean Breeze
The Florida Dept. of Environmental Protection (FDEP) has approved the remedial action plan in response to the FDEP & EPA reports which indicated that elevated levels of chemicals were present on a portion of the South golf course, in the area of the maintenance facility. Although soils will be relocated and tested for levels of hazardous chemicals during this process, there will be requirements for ongoing groundwater testing for many months after the soil remediation is completed.
More details on this hazardous cleanup process may be obtained from the WPB office of the FDEP who is responsible for overseeing the process.
