This promotional deal will not last forever "at these rates", so take advantage of this offer while it lasts. Help keep public accessible golf in the city of Boca Raton by supporting the only championship level golf course within the city - Ocean Breeze Country Club - (5800 NW 2nd Ave./North of Yamato Road).
WOW - this is too good to be true! Compared with Delray muni & Boca muni at $45+pp without any food this really is the deal of the year!
ReplyDeleteWe played at Ocean Breeze last week and it is in better shape than Delray's muni course and is improving rapidly under the new management.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this golf deal. We have not played this course in over a year since it was so poorly maintained. It is in better shape now, but still has a way to go to be as good as top public courses in the area--but they are charging $100pp in peak season. This is still a very good deal for an average course.
ReplyDeletePlayed this course today and it is already improving from just a few weeks ago. The new management are already doing wonders with the course--some fertilizer and rain will help too.
ReplyDeleteGreat Deal! This deal will not last long as the course is in the best shape it has been in for the past 5 yrs. Good Riddens MCZ Centrum and Dennis Taback!
ReplyDeleteWhy isn't this deal on the Ocean Breeze Country Club web site or otherwise advertised online? Is this deal for real?
ReplyDeleteYes, this deal is real and it is a great deal for golfers who like buffets. The golf course is ok, but improving rapidly.
ReplyDeleteGreat deal for golf in-season. Good to finally see good golf available to the public in east Boca Raton.
ReplyDeleteHow long before this deal goes to $75-$100?...when the golf course is nearing Polo Trace quality or other top public courses.
ReplyDeleteFinally--professional golf management at the Ocean Breeze golf course--no more developers trying to suck the cash out of the business so they can develop cheap land.
ReplyDeleteThank you to the Boca Teeca area residents for fighting the greedy developer and city leaders who want to develop every inch of the city. Great to have a local "public" golf course.
ReplyDeleteGreat deal for duffers in Boca.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job in Saving the Golf Course!
ReplyDeleteCourse looks to be in good condition/visibly greener than most courses.
ReplyDeleteArnold Palmer Golf Management has done a great job in a short period of time. I can't wait to see how this course looks after 6-12 months of their care--doubt that it will cost only $39 to play when it improves significantly.
ReplyDeleteGreat golf deal for Boca Raton. I thought Boca Raton only wanted private gated country clubs, so how did Ocean Breeze slip through to provide affordable golf to the public?
ReplyDeleteWhere is this golf course? Is this the old Boca Teeca golf course? Wasn't that a private golf course? I drive by there and I do not see any sign that indicates they are open to the public.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing the city staff who recommended the development on the golf course that they were wrong--golf can be profitable and a benefit to the community for recreation and saving green space.
ReplyDeleteOcean Breeze is getting over 300 paid rounds/day w/promo deal. Looks like a lot of public golfers are enjoying OB golf.
ReplyDeleteThanks for saving the only public championship golf course in the city.
ReplyDeleteThank you for saving PUBLIC championship level golf in Boca Raton.
ReplyDeleteFinally, the private country clubs of Boca Raton are not the only championship level golf courses in the city. Over 330 rounds/day demonstrates the need for public golf in the city.
ReplyDeleteThank you for saving the golf course from being destroyed by the city leaders who only are interested in increasing their budget revenues.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job!-saving public/affordable golf in Boca Raton
ReplyDeleteThe developer did not follow-through on any promises and was obviously ready to close the golf course and abandon their project, so thank you save boca raton green space for saving our golf course and open space in Boca Teeca.
ReplyDeleteGreat deal for the average golfer who doesn't want to pay $10k+/yr. for private country club dues & $50k+ entrance/equity fee.
ReplyDeleteYou get what you pay for....this golf course needs a lot of work
ReplyDeletePlayed OB course this week and the pace of play is much better than Boca or Delray muni. What a deal--$32pp including lunch and a draft brew w/great sunshine weather--can't beat this golfer paradise.
